Description

SAIC is seeking an IT Event Support Technician to serve on a team supporting our customer, the HQ USINDOPACOM J76, K. Mark Takai Pacific Warfighting Center to provide tier I technical support during exercises and events while managing user accounts, system imaging, SharePoint site creation, and SIPR token processing.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide level I software, hardware, A/V VTC, and network support during and in preparation for PWC exercises and events.

Create and manage user and group accounts across enclaves of responsibilities

Deploy baseline system images and configuration using MDT, MECM, or Kickstart

Wipe workstations after each event.

Manage user accounts and troubleshoot login issues.

Manage VDI desktops and user sessions.

Create and manage SharePoint sites in support of events.

Respond to Jira Service Tickets.

Setup, Test VTC equipment prior to use and troubleshoot issues while in use

Assist warehouse personnel with asset management and equipment accountability.

Write and update SOPs and documentation

Perform Local Registration Authority (LRA) duties:

o Process SIPR tokens for staff members and temporary tokens for event participants.

o Revoke, reset, and troubleshoot tokens.

o Update the LRA Logbook and prepare for audit inspections.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors and two (2)+ years of related experience; additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience with network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, SMTP, etc.

Experience with operating systems and office automation software.

Experience with client hardware and computing accessories.

Experience with security compliance requirements in Department of Defense environments, including STIGs, GPOs, SCAP, and FedRAMP.

Foundational knowledge of cloud computing and related technologies.

Must be able to travel up to 25% a year

Must be able to take a 9+ hour shift in a 24-hour period for 2-3 weeks.

Must be able to lift 50lbs of equipment safely

Must be able to reach overhead, bend, kneel and work under desks to connect cables and work on equipment.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT level II or higher certification such as Security+ CE, CySA+, CISSP, CASP, SecurityX etc.

REQUIRED CLEARANCES:

Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance


Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
