Overview
This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office in Phoenix, AZ. The shift for this position will be 2-11PM EST, with flexibility of working 24x7 as needed in a command center environment.
This position manages Command Center activities and associates in support of the Bank's business operations. Manages the monitoring, maintenance, analysis, and troubleshooting for operational environments, systems, and applications. Serves as a resource on resolving complex, escalated production and operational issues. Manages an annual budget, including forecasting, and builds an effective technical team. Ensures that short-term technical support and initiatives drive the accomplishment of long-term strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
- Operations Oversight - Directs Command Center operations ensuring optimum efficient use of resources and the reliability of deployed solutions. Manages an annual budget including forecasting. Creates and executes the batch processing schedule. Leads the implementation of production changes for new and existing applications into the daily monitoring services provided by the Command Center.
- Business Strategy - Builds and drives environment, system, and application monitoring strategies for the team. Represents the interests of business partners and the Information Technology department while supporting the Bank's overall business goals.
- Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development.
- Technical Expertise - Serves as a technical expert and resource to associates, senior management, and wider business unit. Address and resolves complex, escalated technical issues. May serve on business committees or special projects to represent the Command Center.
Qualifications

- Previous experience working in a large financial institution
- Experience working in and managing a command center
- Knowledge of Splunk, Solarwinds, Dynatrace, Control-m a plus
