Job Summary:
The ERP Manager is responsible for the strategic and tactical planning for the ERP system (PeopleSoft). This role will also serve as a key representative to the user community, particularly to Finance, Manufacturing and Human Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support, mentor and manage the technical and functional staff on the ERP team.
Work with senior IT and business leaders to prioritize, plan and execute major ERP projects.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior managers and key users during projects and requests that involve potential changes across multiple functions or departments.
Provide insight into key processes that users or management may not have considered.
Coordinate on major projects and initiatives with peer managers in the IT Support, Operations and Security teams.
Manage the daily/weekly support requirements coming from the user community, as well as break/fix support.
Ensure that Business Continuity processes are followed and monitored, including application back-ups and the periodic testing of recovery procedures.
Support and manage Electronic Data Interchanges (EDI) requirements where required on customer programs.
Update and manage the ERP system to ensure it provides company with proper business solutions and accurate results.
Lead ERP staff recruitment and retention activities.
Develop and manage costs related to ERP systems.
Proven competence with communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications on complex technical and functional subjects to audiences of varying levels of experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (preferred):
Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g. NIST 800-171, CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification), GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation))
Knowledge of a project management solution such as MS Project.
Knowledge of Visio or similar diagramming software.
Expert level knowledge on key manufacturing, financial, accounting, and human resources processes
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $155000.00/yr.
