Join our Team as a Computer Vision Software Intern!

The Role:

We're seeking a motivated CV Software Intern to join our team this Summer 2026! This internship offers hands-on experience in Advanced Research & Development, where you'll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI). You'll collaborate with the Advanced R&D team, as well as mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!

This position will be responsible for effectively developing computer vision based software components for use in larger systems as well as completion of proof of concept project development and testing. The position requires a strong technically-oriented individual who is a good communicator and enjoys working with teammates to solve complicated challenges.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Develop algorithms for recognition and identification using computer vision and other software development tools.
  • Create proof of concept modules and systems to validate project and design decisions.
  • Maintain detailed schedules that support overall product schedules and properly communicate status to management
  • Create and update technical documentation, test plans, and test results, analyze results and provide conclusive reports.
  • Work on a team to complete projects with high quality while maintaining schedules


What We're Looking For:
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or equivalent degree program in related field of study.
  • Excellent C++ and Python programming skills.
  • Knowledge of TensorFlow or other machine learning platforms.
  • Experience development algorithms for image processing using OpenCV.
  • Fluency with Linux developed environments.
  • Advanced research and prototyping experience.

What You'll Get in Return:

Wage - $22.00 - $26.00 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.
