Firewall Technician/Engineer

We’re looking for a Firewall Engineer who’s passionate about securing networks and implementing firewall policies. You’ll join a project to help our client streamline and maintain their firewall configurations.

Location: Las Vegas, NV - onsite

Type: 3–4 month contract (with possible extension)

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage firewall rules (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or Fortinet).
• Perform basic object management (address objects, service objects).
• Collaborate with network engineers to align firewall rules with business requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting firewall-related issues to maintain network security.
• Document changes and maintain firewall rule sets.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience working with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Basic understanding of network security best practices.
• Familiarity with VPN configuration is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
