World Wide Technology is looking for a Windows Engineer. This role is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $65.00 to $70.00 hourly on W2 hourly. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.

 

Job Title: Windows Engineer

Location: Onsite Daily in Las Vegas, NV

Contract Type: 6-Month Contract

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Engineer to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This position requires an expert in Windows environments with a broad skill set, including hardware and basic networking knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience in configuring and deploying Windows systems, integrating related software, and managing domain controllers. Additionally, familiarity with operational technology (OT) and some experience with VMware is desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, deploy, and manage Windows systems, including Active Directory and domain controllers.
  • Integrate Windows systems with related software and ensure robust antivirus protection.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within a Cisco/Dell environment.
  • Configure hardware, including racking and connecting switches, with basic networking knowledge.
  • Connect and manage storage solutions.
  • Provision ESX hosts and templated virtual machines with Windows Server and client.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems and configurations.
  • Experience with hardware configuration and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with VMware, specifically provisioning ESX hosts and virtual machines.
  • Operational Technology (OT) experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Cisco and Dell environments.
