Location: Anaheim, CA (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite)

Job Overview

As a Product Owner, you will collaborate closely with high-tech clients across North America to understand their products, strategies, and goals. Acting as the key liaison, you will translate these insights into actionable plans for Encora s global delivery teams, driving the successful execution of cutting-edge software development projects. Your expertise and leadership will ensure that our clients visions are brought to life with precision and innovation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop deep understanding of assigned clients' products, strategies, and engineering goals
  • Act as the main facilitator for gathering, clarifying, and documenting detailed requirements from American client stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Conduct discussions with client representatives to ensure that all technical needs and business objectives are fully understood and accurately conveyed to the development team.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications and communicate them to Encora s Global Delivery teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Develop and monitor metrics to assess the project's health
  • Proactively identify and resolve any potential blockers the development team may face by coordinating with the client and internal stakeholders.
  • Actively identify and suggest enhancements to both processes and products
  • Manage escalation paths for technical or communication issues that could impact project timelines or quality, ensuring swift problem resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in software development, engineering, or a technical role, providing insight into project workflows and technical challenges.
  • Familiarity with software development processes, including Agile, and proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Trello.
  • Experience managing projects or coordinating across cross-functional teams with attention to deadlines, deliverables, and project milestones.

Nice to have

  • Having a clear e-QIP (also known as e-APP) in addition to the basic ISAR is highly desirable.
