Exciting Job opportunity for a hands-on Data Center Systems Engineer to join a growing team in Little Rock, Arkansas. As a critical member of the infrastructure operations team, you'll ensure the reliability and performance of mission-critical systems that power some of the region's most important digital services. This is a full-time position with on-site work in Little Rock, AR. The role requires quarterly travel to Chicago.

In this role, you will support the maintenance, operation, and optimization of critical systems within the company's data centers. As a Data Center Technician, you will work alongside experienced engineers to ensure the reliability, performance, and efficiency of critical infrastructure components, including all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at the facility. Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in data center operations or related technical field
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and backup power systems
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to follow established protocols
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to document work accurately
  • Willingness to be on-call for emergency response (rotation schedule)
  • Ability to travel quarterly to Chicago
  • Must reside in Rock, AR (non-negotiable)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Military, teaching, or other highly disciplined backgrounds
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Knowledge of data center infrastructure monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with IT hardware installation and configuration
  • Understanding of electrical distribution systems and power management
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs
  • Associate's degree or higher in relevant technical field

Daily Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of critical systems
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Work with senior engineers on system upgrades and improvements
  • Respond to emergency situations and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of system performance and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data center uptime
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • Support infrastructure projects and system installations
  • Manage IT equipment, including racking, stacking, and troubleshooting
