Job Title: Analyst
Job ID: 25-08662
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85007 (Hybrid some in-office presence required for meetings)
Duration: 12 Months of contract
Responsibilities:
50% Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop test plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Guide developers in implementing solutions based on documented requirements.
- Execute test cases/scripts to verify applications meet business requirements and user acceptance criteria.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with end users to validate solution performance.
- Document and track software defects and performance/usability issues.
30% Business Analysis
- Identify, evaluate, and document:
- Business needs and objectives
- Operational processes/procedures
- Problems and requirements
- Analyze the business case and document process gaps (as-is vs. to-be).
- Perform requirements elicitation, documentation, and management.
- Document standard, alternate, and error use cases to guide development.
- Write meaningful user acceptance criteria aligned to user stories.
- Facilitate communication across stakeholder levels while resolving conflicts objectively.
20% Process Improvement & Automation
- Document and improve processes and procedures related to Business Analysis and QA standards.
- Identify candidates for test automation.
- Document test flows and data requirements/dependencies.
- Implement test automation using approved tools.
Required Skills:
- Windows Server experience
- SDLC knowledge (Agile Scrum, Kanban)
- Intermediate experience with Visual Studio / TFS / VSTS
- Intermediate knowledge of STLC
Intermediate experience with:
- .NET applications
- ETL
- SQL Server 2008 R2 & 2016
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS
- Backend database testing: tables and views
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Backend database testing: indexes, triggers, stored procedures, packages
- Experience with API testing
- Experience with automated testing.
