Job Details
We are seeking a talented Senior Business Intelligence (Power BI) Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to lead innovative data modeling, visualization, and analytics solutions in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI datasets and reports using best practices in data modeling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Optimize DAX queries and T-SQL data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and reporting.
- Implement data security protocols and governance standards to maintain compliance and data integrity.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data models and report issues, ensuring continuous improvement of BI solutions.
- Document data lineage and maintain a robust data catalog for easy access and understanding.
Skills
- Expertise in Power BI, including strong knowledge of DAX and data modeling techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL for data warehousing and performance tuning.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in delivering scalable BI solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data quality and governance standards.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Analytics services, including Synapse and Data Factory.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD practices in BI development.
- Knowledge of data governance tools and practices.
- Understanding of Salesforce data models for customer analytics.
- Advanced skills in performance tuning and optimization of BI assets.
