Enterprise Security Architect - Dallas or Tampa

Job Title: Enterprise Security Architect who specializes in IAM:

Location: Hybrid - Tampa, FL or Dallas, TX

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Security Strategy Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cloud technologies, with a proven track record of delivering security strategies from concept to implementation. This role requires a visionary leader who can create synergy between business and engineering teams, ensuring the alignment of security initiatives with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Security Strategies: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive security strategies that address IAM and cloud infrastructure needs.


• IAM Implementation: Lead the deployment and management of Identity and Access Management solutions to ensure secure access control across the organization.


• Cloud Security: Architect and oversee cloud security solutions that protect data and applications in cloud environments.


• Project Management: Manage security projects from inception through delivery, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.


• Team Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between business and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures.


• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate security strategies and initiatives to stakeholders, including senior management and technical teams.


• Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.


• Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements related to IAM and cloud security.


• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging security trends and technologies, incorporating best practices into existing frameworks.


• Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.


• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM, cloud security, and strategic security architecture.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), IAM solutions, and security tools.


• Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams.


• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.


• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on driving collaboration and innovation.


• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud security certifications are a plus.




• Experience working with development and engineering teams to capture requirements and solution goals.


• Experience breaking down complex systems and applications to find flaws.


• Familiarity with general Identity & Access Management capabilities preferred.


• The ability to communicate complicated technical issues and the risks they pose to developers, network engineers, system administrators, and management.


• Experience in one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).


• Experience in CI/CD tools, their architecture, design, and implementation.


• Experience with agile methodologies, working in fast phase agile security environment.


• Effective communication skills with the ability to present in front of large highly technical and non-technical audience.


• Self-motivated with excellent team skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills


• Must be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills.
