Agile Scrum Master

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Act as key agile-team liaison across businesses units, other agile teams, and the program team
• Contribute to the successful implementation of assigned features by optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered
• Work with Business Partners and application SMEs to identify and mitigate risk and execution of the delivery of end-to-end technology solutions
• Manage timelines and communicate feature status within the team but also with leadership and business partners
• Coordinate agile ceremonies, manage dependencies for the team, provide visibility into team plans & progress, and enable continuous improvement within the team and organization
• Responsible for coaching their team(s) on the work management tools and adherence to the enterprise change standards
• Work closely with analysts, developers and testers to ensure requirements and designs are translated accurately into working stories and test plans/scripts serve customer needs while meeting compliance with enterprise change policy

Requirements:

• Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills
• Ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications interacting professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Highly versed in various SDLC methodologies, including waterfall and agile software development lifecycle
• Analytical and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application requirements

Desired skills:

• Knowledge of Change Management Process
• Versed in various SDLC methodologies including but not limited to Scrum, SAFe, Kanban
• Proficient with Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Octane, MS Office, SQL

Pay range: $68.38 - $76.38
