Hardware Technician Electrical wiring, Electronics Automotive related
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Basic knowledge of Electronics understanding of what/how/why.
Entry level wire harness knowledge Crimping, connector types, gauge, etc.
Exposure to Linux/Shell environments.
Someone that can learn quickly and expand in their knowledge.
Pluses:
Automotive Trade school, equivalent training and/or experience.
Automotive and/or electronics diagnostics experience.
Basic Fabrication Skills Cutting metal/wood, using power tools to make simple parts.
Familiar with electronic design, oscilloscope usage, DMM measurements.
Roles & Responsibilities
Flexible and self-motivated technician to support Hardware Engineering.
Scope:
Collaborate on & assemble test platforms - Create the Stuff that enables HW to be utilized in a lab.
Including but not limited to - Fixturing, wiring, cooling.
Design/assemble wire harnesses.
Capture, escalate, & diagnose HW & SW issues encountered when commissioning & maintaining test platforms.
Education: High School/Diploma/Technical training/Degree
