Job Summary:

We are looking for a Lead Python Developer to drive the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications and data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, API development, and data integration, with strong leadership skills to mentor a team of developers and collaborate across business and technology units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust Python-based applications and microservices.
• Architect and optimize API frameworks (RESTful or GraphQL) for scalability and performance.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps integration.
• Work closely with data engineers and cloud architects to integrate back-end systems and data pipelines.
• Ensure adherence to security, performance, and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a lead or senior role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python (3.x) and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
