Solution Architect

Job Title: Solution Architect (Remote) Independent Contractor Only
Location: Remote

Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and guiding the implementation of complex enterprise solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect end-to-end solutions in line with enterprise architecture and business goals

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define solution blueprints

• Evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner options for new solutions

• Ensure architecture meets performance, security, compliance, and availability requirements

• Participate in the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and provide strategic guidance

• Create and maintain architectural artifacts (diagrams, decision logs, risk assessments)

Skills & Competencies:

• Deep knowledge of application, data, and integration architecture

• Strong experience with cloud and hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)

• Ability to assess technical feasibility and influence platform decisions

• Excellent communication skills able to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Proficient in design thinking, decision frameworks, and modeling tools

Qualifications:

• 7+ years in IT solution design and enterprise architecture

• Proven record of designing and delivering complex enterprise systems

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)

• Healthcare domain experience and knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA) is highly preferred
