DevOps Engineer 2X

Intro:

Join our team as a DevOps Engineer and play a pivotal role in supporting and maintaining our Enterprise Healthcare platform infrastructure. Youll be at the forefront of platform deployment, site reliability, and developer tool automation, ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining technical software applications. You will provide a combination of technical and business leadership, becoming the primary trusted owner of high-priority, high-visibility, complex initiatives. Leading and coaching a small team, you will guide them through the intricacies of our product stack, focusing on automation and system optimization. Your role will involve configuring, tuning, and installing application systems, monitoring performance, and collaborating with hardware teams to resolve issues. You will also influence broader engineering groups in adopting cloud technologies and best practices, ensuring continuous integration and deployment for our DevOps toolset.

Must-Haves:

To excel in this role, you must have a strong background in software development and system administration. Proficiency in multiple programming languages relevant to our product stack is essential, along with experience in automation and cloud technologies. You should have a proven track record of leading and managing dynamic, multi-disciplinary teams, and a deep understanding of Agile/DevOps principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are crucial. A passion for innovation and a commitment to improving system reliability and efficiency will set you apart.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and system administration.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript.

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
