DPP is seeking a PMP-certified Consulting Director for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work arrangement:
  • 75% Remote; must report onsite as needed
  • W2 position; part-time (averaging 10 hours/week)
  • Certifications are required.
Project description:
  • The Consulting Director will serve as a Project Manager while assessing the current Vocational Rehabilitation internal business processes to identify opportunities to streamline and improve services.
  • Providing consulting and project management services to identify and implement business process improvements for Vocational Rehabilitation services.
  • Report onsite for the initial meetings and during the implementation testing.
  • Governrnent experience is required
Required education and certifications:
  • Master s degree
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
  • Tableau Desktop Specialist certification
Responsibilities and deliverables:
Assess Needs
  • Perform data analysis to identify agency needs and priorities.
  • Conduct staff surveys to identify gaps in processes, inefficiencies, and needs.
  • Hold consultation hours with staff to assess current Vocational Rehabilitation processes.
Recommend Process Improvements
  • Utilize strong knowledge of applicable federal regulations for Vocational Rehabilitation to make actionable recommendations for process improvements, including prioritizing changes and identifying necessary new or revised documentation.
  • Assess potential impacts and risks of recommended process changes.
  • Draft a final assessment and recommendations report.
Implement Process Improvements
  • Provide project management services to develop a timeline, implementation plan, and communication plan.
  • Coordinate with administration teams on documentation revisions.
  • With staff, implement lean process strategies to streamline business processes and improve services.
  • Provide support and training to staff during implementation of process changes/improvements.
