Job Title: Executive Director - Credit Data Product Lead
Location: New York, NY

Compensation: $400K-$600K Total Compensation
About the Role:
We are building a new, high-impact data product team within the Systematic Trading division of a leading U.S. investment bank. This team is tasked with transforming how data is leveraged across asset classes to drive alpha generation, risk management, and operational efficiency. As part of this strategic buildout, we are hiring an Executive Director to lead data product strategy for the Credit asset class.
This is a front-office-facing role, partnering directly with traders, quants, and technologists to define and deliver data solutions that power systematic and discretionary strategies. The ideal candidate combines deep Credit market expertise with strong technical fluency and a product mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the Credit Data Product Strategy: Define and execute a roadmap for Credit data products that align with the needs of systematic and fundamental trading teams.
  • Trader-Facing Partnership: Serve as the primary data liaison to Credit trading desks, translating business needs into scalable data solutions.
  • Product Development & Delivery: Lead the design, prioritization, and rollout of data products supporting signal generation, portfolio construction, and risk analytics.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Champion data integrity, lineage, and governance across Credit datasets, ensuring reliability and transparency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quant research, and other asset class leads to ensure consistency and interoperability of data platforms.
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership: Identify and evaluate new data sources (including alternative data), and drive adoption of advanced analytics and scientific workflows.
  • Influence & Communication: Represent Credit data strategy in senior forums and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including PMs, CIOs, and governance committees.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in Credit markets, ideally in a data strategy, quant research, or engineering and analytics rols
  • Deep expertise in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, and Data Analytics/Engineering.
  • Strong domain knowledge of Linear Credit instruments including Bonds, Loans, and CDSs.
  • Proven experience building or managing data products in a trading or investment management context.
  • Technical fluency with data platforms, scientific computing, and modern data architecture.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior investment professionals.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and comfort operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
