What you do:
As a Product Owner Senior, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of the product roadmap at Allianz Life comprising of fixed index annuities, registered index-linked annuities, life insurance, and in-plan solutions. In this role you will gain a deep understanding of our products and services for our in-plan solutions and provide product expertise and guidance to internal customers. The ability to effectively collaborate across business functions and provide detailed analysis of complex concepts is essential for success. As a Product Owner Senior, you will have the opportunity to drive proactive collaboration with leadership, key distribution partners, and other supporting departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of our product features. This role has a direct impact on execution of the company's goals and serving our customers.

Job posting range: $67,000-101,000
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.

- Contribute product and technical expertise in creation of the product strategy and concept
- Support product team(s) in execution against the product strategy. Using Agile Scrum methodology, create feature roadmap to build, refine, and maintain the product backlog. Work with other Product Owners to ensure coherence in developing product backlog and integration of features between product teams.
- Serve as the subject matter expert of Allianz Life products for internal customers. Understand the market, the customer, and the business in order to make sound decisions about the product and the product backlog.
- Work closely with our business and technical delivery teams to ensure product requirements and features are understood and work as expected.
- Excellent cross organizational skills with a focus on ability to communicate effectively and comfortably within all levels of the company.
- Supports Scaled Agile development framework through execution of agile ceremonies and delivery execution. Contribute to continuous improvements of product ownership and other agile processes.
- Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
What you bring:
- 4-5 years experience required
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience required
- Scaled Agile experience required
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, , L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.
