Responsibilities
Noblis MSD is seeking Network Administrators to support the NAWCAD Engineering & Logistics for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Mission Operations and Integration (MO&I). Additionally we are supporting their missions' to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.
In this role, you are responsible for managing and maintaining computer networks to ensure reliable and secure connectivity for users and devices. They utilize their expertise in network technologies, protocols, and security practices to design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure and services. Typical responsibilities include configuring and maintaining network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, monitoring network performance and traffic patterns, and troubleshooting network issues to identify and resolve connectivity and performance problems. Network administration roles also involve implementing network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs, to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access. Additionally, professionals may plan and execute network upgrades and migrations, perform network capacity planning, and provide technical support and training to end-users and other IT staff. Their expertise in areas such as network design, routing and switching, network protocols, and network management tools enables organizations to maintain robust and scalable network infrastructure that supports business operations and enables seamless communication and collaboration.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
