Description
Going to be an security/alarm cable puller on large commercial security jobs in the Cincinnati Metro area. Must be willing to travel in own vehicle to job site for first 6-12 months. These roles will but set up as 12 month CTH, they will have potential to convert after 6 months if proved themselves. Looking for eager to learn candidates. These will be around $400 in SPC - 1st interview will be 30 min phone screen - 2nd Interview will be onsite with Vince the Operations Manager. Start date is expected in mid July They do get jobs that require 1-2 weeks at time travel if candidate is open to it! Convergint will cover lodging, pay for mileage over 50 mile and reimburse for food. When traveling OT is expected and can work as much OT as need to complete the job. Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of non-routine systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety. You will be a key interface for the provision of technical support and training for the customer and as such are accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction. Completes accurate and detailed service reports for customer and Convergint in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking. Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted. Solid technical skills and experience fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems. Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions To be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision. Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.). Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Advanced computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and proficient in other relevant applications. A valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis. Minimal overnight travel may be required.
