Description
SharePoint Dev/ Analyst - Houston Office
The SharePoint Systems Analyst is a full-time, firmwide role based in Houston, responsible for the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the intranet and knowledge systems. This customer-facing position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support
Assist users with publishing and maintaining intranet content and applications.
Analyze and respond to support requests and user needs.
System Administration
Maintain and update the firm's intranet and library asset management systems.
Support configuration changes and troubleshoot system issues.
Development & Integration
Design and develop intranet sites (on-premises and cloud-based).
Create and maintain workflows, forms, and web features using SharePoint and related tools.
Leverage built-in SharePoint functionality to enhance user experience.
Quality Assurance
Conduct testing of new features and system updates.
Serve as lead tester for Knowledge Systems platforms.
Data & Content Management
Use reporting tools to analyze data and provide insights.
Support content development and publishing across departments.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
4+ years of relevant experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience with:
Programming/scripting (any language)
Database querying
Workflow design and development
Web content development and visualization
Microsoft Excel and Word (advanced features)
Creating and delivering presentations
Preferred Qualifications
SharePoint 2019/Online experience, including Designer, webparts, and security.
Experience with Qdabra FormsViewer, PowerApps, Power Platform, and Azure.
Familiarity with Handshake or other knowledge management tools.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, Python, C#, or ASPX.
SQL database experience, including stored procedures and SSIS.
Reporting tools like HarePoint Analytics.
Understanding of hierarchical security systems.
Experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
