Job Title: PeopleSoft Systems Architect Higher Education
Location: Remote Job Type: 12 months+
Job description:
- The PeopleSoft Systems Architect will design and oversee the technical architecture of PeopleSoft systems while collaborating closely with the PM/BA to ensure designs meet documented business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate documented business requirements into scalable, maintainable system architecture.
- Collaborate with the PM/BA to understand functional specifications and workflows before designing solutions.
- Define integration strategies with other campus systems (CRM, LMS, data warehouses).
- Establish technical standards, best practices, and governance for PeopleSoft applications.
- Provide guidance on upgrades, performance tuning, and customizations to meet documented needs.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues while ensuring solutions align with approved requirements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to the PeopleSoft ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of PeopleSoft experience in higher education, with architecture and integration expertise.
- Strong knowledge of PeopleTools, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience collaborating with PM/BA on requirements, traceability, and functional documentation.
- Knowledge of cloud deployments, security frameworks, and higher education compliance standards.
