Information Technology Manager
Location: Southeast Houston, Texas
Our client, an extremely well-established company in the Southeast Houston area, is seeking an Information Technology Manager to oversee IT operations, infrastructure, procurement, and help desk support. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring SOX compliance, driving efficiency, and implementing innovative technologies to optimize business processes.
What You ll Do:
- Lead IT projects that support business goals and improve efficiency
- Oversee IT infrastructure, network security, and disaster recovery
- Manage help desk and end-user support for core business systems
- Coordinate IT procurement, policies, and documentation
- Serve as the main IT point of contact and communicate updates to leadership
- Explore innovative technologies, including Generative AI, to enhance processes
Must-Have Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience managing IT teams and IT operations
- Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure management (network, hardware, software, security)
- Experience managing help desk operations and resolving end-user issues
- IT procurement/purchasing experience
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Knowledge of SOX compliance for IT activities
- JD Edwards OneWorld/EnterpriseOne experience
Nice to Have:
- Strategic, innovative problem-solving mindset
- Knowledge of Generative AI in business processes
- Experience supporting multi-location or international environments
