RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Developer (SME) in McLean, VA.
Duties:
* Software Developer (SME) will develop codes, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software; Has good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements
* Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them
* Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
* As a Software Developer (SME), you may assist in development of software user manuals
* Responsible for desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training to include automating application and configuration deployments and updates
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
