  • Networking & Connectivity: Design/manage VPCs, subnets, VPNs, Direct Connect, and Route 53. Implement hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Disaster Recovery & Backup: Implement backup/DR strategies (AWS Backup, S3 Versioning, Glacier). Define RTO/RPO policies and perform DR testing.

  • Scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • AWS security best practices (IAM, KMS, Security Groups, GuardDuty)
  • Networking fundamentals (VPC, VPN, Load Balancers, Route 53)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud experience (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS Outposts)
  • Serverless computing (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions)
  • Data streaming/messaging (Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, SQS)
  • NoSQL/Relational DB knowledge (DynamoDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • AI/ML workloads on AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock)

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • AWS Certifications preferred:
    • Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
    • DevOps Engineer Professional
    • Security Specialty

Soft Skills:
