Job Details:
This exciting role will involve managing the development of multifamily residential projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including design, planning, construction, and handover. We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about creating high-quality, sustainable living spaces. This senior-level position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the multifamily residential sector.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of multifamily residential projects, including design, planning, construction, and handover.
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
3. Prepare and present project proposals, schedules, budgets, and progress reports to stakeholders.
4. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact the success of the project.
5. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the best value for money.
6. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with local building codes and regulations.
7. Foster a culture of safety and quality, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
8. Manage and resolve any conflicts or disputes that arise during the project.
9. Mentor and guide junior project managers and other team members.
10. Continually seek opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the multifamily residential sector.
3. Proven experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects from inception to completion.
4. Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
6. Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
9. Proficient in project management software and other relevant technology.
10. Experience with Chicagoland projects is highly desirable.
