Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Contract: W2 Only
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and implement customized solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce integrations, along with a strong understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or CPQ. You will collaborate with business analysts, admins, and stakeholders to build scalable and efficient Salesforce applications that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, and batch jobs for complex business logic
- Build responsive Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components
- Design and optimize Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules
- Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and record types
- Implement REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Salesforce Connect for integrations
- Manage data migration, ETL processes, and bulk operations (Data Loader, APIs)
- Configure Salesforce CPQ (formerly SteelBrick) for pricing and quoting workflows (if applicable)
- Write unit tests (Apex Test Classes) and ensure code coverage (85%+)
- Manage deployments using Change Sets, Salesforce DX, or CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in Sandbox and Production environments
- Work closely with Salesforce Admins and Business Analysts to gather requirements
- Follow Salesforce best practices for security, scalability, and governor limits
- Stay updated with Salesforce releases and new features
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 11+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration (Flows, Process Builder)
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP, MuleSoft, etc.)
- Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools (Git, VS Code, Salesforce CLI, Copado)
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required), PD II (preferred)
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with OmniStudio, Vlocity, or Industries CPQ
- Knowledge of Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, or Experience Cloud
- Exposure to AI/ML in Salesforce (Einstein Analytics, Prediction Builder)
