Role: Senior UI/UX Designer Generative AI & Digital Experience Location : Dearborn,MI Tax term : W2-Contract
About the Role
Within Global Data Insight and Analytics (GDIA), we are seeking a highly creative and forward-thinking UI/UX Designer to craft next-generation, co-pilot-like user experiences powered by Generative AI.
You will design intelligent, intuitive, and scalable interfaces that enhance productivity and seamlessly integrate across complex enterprise systems.
As part of a multidisciplinary design and engineering ecosystem, you will collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge design experiences that empower internal teams and redefine how users interact with AI-enabled systems.
This is an opportunity to design bleeding-edge GenAI interfaces that bridge creativity, technology, and usability within a large-scale data and analytics ecosystem.
What You ll Do
Design and prototype co-pilot-style user experiences that leverage Generative AI and integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems.
Create high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and design flows using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Lead user journey mapping and interaction design across multiple product lines.
Conduct user research and usability testing to validate and refine design decisions.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and data engineers to ensure feasibility, consistency, and scalability of designs.
Ensure alignment with design standards, accessibility guidelines, and user experience principles.
Drive innovation by conceptualizing AI-assisted interfaces that augment user decision-making and improve workflow efficiency.
Communicate design intent effectively across teams and present concepts to leadership and stakeholders.
Skills Required
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Illustrator, Photoshop), and prototyping tools.
Strong understanding of User Experience Design (UX), Visual Design, Interaction Design, and User Research.
Experience in Application Design, Customer Experience, and Strategic Communication.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into intuitive user flows.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
Skills Preferred
Experience designing AI-driven or co-pilot-style interfaces and conversational experiences.
Familiarity with Lean/Agile product development environments.
Exposure to system integration environments or enterprise-scale platforms.
Understanding of user journeys within analytics or data-driven systems.
Ability to visualize and design AI-assisted automation experiences.
Experience Required
5 8+ years of professional experience in UI/UX or Product Design, preferably in enterprise or complex system environments.
Proven experience delivering end-to-end user experiences, from concept through implementation.
Hands-on experience in rapid prototyping and iterative design validation.
Experience Preferred
Experience mentoring junior designers and fostering design best practices.
Exposure to automotive, mobility, or manufacturing analytics platforms.
Prior work in AI/ML or data-centric design environments is a strong plus.
Education
Required: Bachelor s degree in HCI, Human Factors, Design, Psychology, Communications, or related discipline.
Preferred: Master s degree or equivalent design certification.
Work Location
Hybrid Candidate must be available onsite 4 days per week in Dearborn, MI.
