Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking an LRSO Acquisition Systems/Project Engineer to join a team providing support in application and execution of the following systems engineering technical and technical management processes: requirements definition and analysis, digital engineering, architecture design, implementation, integration, V&V, transition, decision analysis, technical planning, technical assessment, requirements management, risk management, configuration management, technical data management, and interface management. Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation. Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
The U.S. Air Force is developing a new Long-Range Stand-Off (LRSO) nuclear missile. In May 2021, the Air Force awarded an Engineering and Manufacturing Design (EMD) contract to Raytheon Missiles and Defense, Tucson, Arizona. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Nuclear Weapons Acquisition Division (AFNWC/NDB), which is resident at Eglin AFB, Florida, is the System Program Office (SPO) responsible for the acquisition.

Must have Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, a related field OR equivalent experience (6 years' of applicable experience may be substituted/in lieu of degree).

Role and Responsibilities
This position requires a highly motivated individual. Essential duties include:
- Review and ensure adequacy of engineering documentation submitted for systems in development including documentation
- Write, coordinate, and maintain Government developed system engineering documentation, e.g. Systems Engineering Plan
- Prepare reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation, and corrective action to system engineering issues and processes
- Utilize Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) for management of system requirements
- Ensure and support a Model Based Systems Engineering approach for system development including use SysML and associated tools
- Monitor and support verification of system requirements
- Communicate effectively through written, verbal, and presentation methods
Job Requirements
Must have Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, a related field OR equivalent experience (6 years' of applicable experience may be substituted/in lieu of degree).
- Must have at least 3 years of related Systems Engineering experience. Must have an active SECRET DoD security clearance. Must be eligible for a Top Secret clearance.
- Must be familiar with DoD Acquisition processes or project management professional principles.
Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering preferred
- Program office experience is desired
