Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide deskside/mobile support to end-users during the mobile carrier transition.
- Assist with the distribution and setup of new mobile devices and/or SIM cards.
- Configure and activate mobile phones (iOS and Android) with the new carrier settings.
- Support data transfer, email setup, MDM enrollment, and app configurations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to device compatibility, network access, or user authentication.
- Educate users on new carrier features, voicemail, roaming, and support processes.
- Maintain detailed logs of device assignments, support tickets, and user feedback.
- Coordinate with the mobile project team to escalate issues and track progress.
- Collect and decommission old devices.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, deskside support, or mobile device support.
- Strong working knowledge of iOS and Android devices.
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) tools such as Intune.
- Familiarity with carrier activation processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple support requests.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale mobile rollouts or migrations.
- Working knowledge of mobile policies, security practices, and device encryption.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow)
Salary/ Rate: $45-48/hour (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week. Contract duration is 6 months with possible extensions. This position currently does not offer any benefits.
