As a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, you will:
- Translate Designs into Reality: Create detailed operation sheets and NC programs to produce high-precision machined parts and sub-assemblies.
- Engineer for Efficiency: Define manufacturing sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements to streamline production.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, quality, production, and vendors to resolve issues and enhance manufacturability.
- Support the Shop Floor: Be hands-on in the production environment, assisting with program prove-outs and troubleshooting.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements, tooling upgrades, and design modifications.
- Contribute to Strategic Planning: Assist in estimating costs and timelines for new proposals and tooling development.
To be considered for Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
- A Bachelor's degree, or an Associate's degree with 6+ years, or a High School diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of Mill-Turn CNC programming experience using CAD/CAM software.
- Strong knowledge of process engineering from raw material to finished product.
- Hands-on experience with machine setup and operation.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to work effectively across departments.
