Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions using Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, data warehousing best practices, and strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise-grade data architecture using Snowflake Data Cloud.

  • Lead data modeling, ETL/ELT pipeline development, and performance tuning within Snowflake.

  • Define best practices and standards for data architecture and governance.

  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

  • Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, caching, and data pruning.

  • Implement security policies, data masking, and access controls to ensure data privacy and compliance.

  • Evaluate and integrate third-party tools for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.

  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture roles.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, dbt, Matillion, or Talend.

  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

  • Proficient in data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema, normalization, etc.).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and DevOps practices.

  • Strong understanding of data security and governance frameworks.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core or Advanced).

  • Experience with real-time data processing and streaming platforms (Kafka, Spark).

  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
