Cloud Support Specialist
Location: Redstone Arsenal, Alabama
Clearance: Secret
Description:
HigherEchelon is seeking a Cloud Support Specialist to provide expertise in multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments, supporting workload migration, architecture optimization, and compliance with DoD security standards.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Responsibilities:
Support workload pre-migration, migration, and post-migration activities.
Develop reference architecture and migration processes.
Conduct continuous monitoring and ensure compliance with DoD security requirements.
Optimize cloud environments and consolidate tools for efficient operations.
Interface with users to understand security needs and implement solutions.
Required Skills:
Expertise in multi-cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and cloud containers.
Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide.
Proficiency in data security analysis and IA policy compliance.
Must have a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide.
Experience with cloud cost optimization tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability).
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and cybersecurity.
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect are preferred.
