Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager (TPM) with deep expertise in data platforms and integration to lead strategic data initiatives across the enterprise. This role will drive the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards. The TPM will work closely with data architects, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to orchestrate scalable, high-quality data solutions using Snowflake as the core data warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Strategy

Define and manage the roadmap for enterprise data initiatives, including ETL/ELT modernization, data platform scalability, and governance.

Align program goals with business priorities and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Lead cross-functional teams across data engineering, analytics, and business units.

Technical Oversight

Oversee the design and implementation of ETL/ELT architectures with Snowflake.

Ensure integration of diverse data sources (RDBMS, APIs, SaaS, flat files, streaming platforms) into Snowflake.

Drive performance optimization strategies (virtual warehouses, clustering, query tuning).

Team & Stakeholder Management

Mentor and guide ETL/ELT developers and data engineers.

Facilitate collaboration between data architects, BI developers, and business stakeholders.

Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party tools for data integration and automation.

Governance & Quality

Establish and enforce data quality, lineage, and governance frameworks.

Promote best practices for scalable, reusable, and cost-effective data integration.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Stay current with Snowflake features and emerging data technologies.

Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across data pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, or technical program management.

Proven experience managing large-scale data programs with Snowflake as the central platform.

Strong understanding of ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, Matillion, SSIS, AWS Glue, DBT, Fivetran).

Expertise in SQL and performance tuning.

Familiarity with data modeling (star/snowflake schema, data vault) and warehousing principles.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with real-time data integration (Kafka, Kinesis, Azure Event Hub).

Knowledge of data governance/catalog tools (Collibra, Alation).

Exposure to big data ecosystems (Spark, Hadoop).

Familiarity with BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
