Job Title: Project Manager III

Location: Akron, Ohio 44313 (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

Notes from Intake. Utility experience is not required. This is pure project management and coordination. This program involves monitoring the health of monitors installed at substations on transformers, breakers and other equipment.

Experience managing engineering, It or field service type projects will be a good fit. There are multiple projects in this program, so will be running more than one project concurrently.

Job Description Program management for the Transmission Transformer and Breaker Monitor installation program. This position will coordinate with engineering, project management, IT, dynamic ratings and outage coordination to ensure the monitors are installed, communicating and data is flowing into the asset health systems.

Utilizing project management skills for projects relating to the Asset Performance Management (APM) software tool.

Conducting technical research and analyzing highly complex data; Interpreting results; Providing recommendations to high-level solutions.

Recommending and implementing technical solutions to complex issues and assignments.

Working with internal and external stakeholders to manage, enhance, and maintain the AHC database and data.

Developing process improvements and efficiencies to improve work products.

Providing support to FEU personnel on information and /or reports related to Substation Assets.

Provide support through spare equipment management and equipment replacement recommendations.

Understanding of substations, substation equipment and devices preferred.

Experience with maintenance, testing and configuration of substation devices preferred.

Knowledge of substation equipment maintenance practices is preferred.

Project Management experience preferred.

Ability to read and understand substation design prints and bills of material preferred.

Ability to analyze large datasets, familiarity with databases and database structure preferred.

Strong analytical and technical abilities.

Familiarity with the following - Cascade / QlikView / SAP / TOA / DobleWeb is preferred.

Highly proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.

In-depth understanding of applicable technical products and/or services and of customer needs and expectations.
