Job Description

Seeking a talented and motivated Senior Java Developer to Web API team in a hybrid work environment. You ll help shape the future of critical Web API platform, which supports client-facing applications, third-party integrations, and internal tools essential to daily business operations.This is a unique opportunity to work on a real-time services platform in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

The Web API team is a group of dedicated engineers focused on designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems. They are committed to innovation and continuous improvement, and we value collaboration, initiative, and professional development.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional Java development experience
  • Experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Vert.x
  • Experience with RESTful Web Service Design and Implementation
  • Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication
  • Proficiency in Git and version control best practices.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles and testing frameworks like JUnit.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to add new features and interfaces to the platform.
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Write documentation, unit tests, and regression tests for new interfaces and components.
  • Support internal services by creating reusable backend clients and tools.
  • Provide third-level technical support as needed.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
