Description

SAIC is excited to be helping a US Air Force customer explore emerging technology and processes in designing, developing, and demonstrating a proof-of-concept, Multi-Level Security (MLS) architecture. We are seeking a senior, cleared Technical Project Manager to lead this effort onsite at Kirtland AFB in New Mexico with interactions with multiple other Air Force Agencies and Commands from across the United States and OCONUS locations.

This individual will use the Koverse data platform and other multi-level security tools to support networking between Command and Control (C2) and 4 th /5th generation aircraft simulators, plus Modeling and Simulation (M&S) environment generators. MLS is a critical developing technology for numerous Department of Defense applications. This position enables the candidate to get in on the ground floor of this high demand emerging technology. The proof-of-concept architecture will inform future performance capabilities of the Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) and Global Reference Interface Domain (GRID) supporting networked flight-simulation training and exercises.

As the Technical Project Lead, you will:
  • Serve as the driving force behind developing and executing a program plan for experimentation, recording results, and determining next appropriate steps.
  • Integrate with the Koverse Data Platform (KDP) team and the SAIC Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services MLS global development team to develop of the prototype MLS architecture for the Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC).
  • Work directly with the DMOC customer and the KDP team to develop cutting-edge solutions using KDP.
  • Assist the KDP team with specifying, building, testing, and deploying customized machine learning and/or other mission-focused applications based on customer requirements.
  • Participate in deployment and implementation planning with customers.
  • Review and assist team with the production of documentation to support custom applications.
  • Serve as a integral member of the MLS Community of Interest which includes government and contractor leadership.
  • Manage customer funds and expenditures.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 9 relevant years of experience.
  • Experience leading technical projects and integrating in projects teams preferably in an AF/DOD environment.

Desired:
  • IAT-2 certified.
  • Experience with DMO and/or AF Modeling and Simulation Systems.
  • Experience with network engineering.
