Job Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

The Ethics and Privacy Compliance analyst role combines Ethics and Privacy Compliance responsibilities. It will provide support in managing the organization's Ethics Program and the Privacy Office. The analyst will assist the Ethics Program Manager and the Privacy Officer in the day-to-day operations of the Bank's compliance to policies & standards, risk assessment, case management and training & awareness campaigns.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Privacy Compliance (50% of time)
  • Assist with enhancement and maintenance of the Enterprise Privacy Policy and Privacy Notices
  • Assist with conducting privacy risk assessments for new and existing products and processes
  • Support and respond to privacy inquiries regarding privacy standards, guidance and regulatory matters
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Banking/Lending/Mortgage, Technology, Information Security, Marketing, HR, etc. to support data privacy and protection practices within their business functions
  • Compile data analytics in support of program metrics dashboard (e.g. KRIs, KPIs)
  • Promote a culture of data protection, privacy and ethical behavior within the organization

  • Ethics Compliance (50% of time)
  • Support the intake, documentation, and follow-up of internal ethics concerns, including potential conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, and code of conduct violations
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting for ethics trends, case outcomes, and program effectiveness metrics
  • Contribute to the development and distribution of ethics communications and training materials
  • Maintain ethics records, case files, and internal reporting tools
  • Conduct preliminary research and benchmarking on emerging ethics topics, regulations, or best practices
  • Help facilitate employee awareness campaigns and engagement activities (e.g., Ethics Week, pulse surveys)
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of internal policies and procedures related to ethics and compliance

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Special Projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required
  • Consistent adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance training. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:
  • Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent).
  • Minimum experience required: 3+ years of experience in data privacy, compliance, risk management or related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the financial services, insurance or technology industry.
  • CCEP or interest in pursuing professional ethics or compliance certification.
  • Certification in Privacy (e.g. CIPP, CIPM, etc.)

Job Competencies:
  • Familiarity with Ethics Laws and Privacy Laws (e.g. GLBA, CCPA, FCRA).
  • Solid understanding of risk management best practices.
  • Familiarity with privacy risk frameworks (e,g. NIST, ISO27001).
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate problems.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; strong written skills.
  • Good judgment and the ability to identify and escalate issues.
  • Strong ethical values.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
