Job Description:
Currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Raynham, MA office. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, this position is responsible for performing diversified application engineering duties to support specific product lines.
Essential responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluate customer drawings, specifications, and product orders to determine compliance of products to customer specifications.
  • Oversee design modifications necessary to produce the required product.
  • Create product and component drawings, structures, and routings.
  • Provide technical sales support to the customer regarding product applications and specifications.
  • Initiate changes in design, process, and procedures to improve product performance and/or reduce costs.
  • Design and modify existing products to fit customer specifications and requirements.
  • Provide technical engineering assistance to Production, Material, and Quality Control to resolve procurement, scheduling, manufacturing, and testing problems relative to the manufacture of any Photocell, Contactor, Power Tap or related components.
  • Develop and maintain product and component assembly and manufacturing standards used to develop and control the design and production of products.
  • Evaluate testing programs, services, and activities relative to product lines.
  • Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements.
  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
  • Travel to customer locations as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.

Secondary responsibilities may include:

  • Evaluate testing programs, services and activities relative to product lines.
  • Participate and or lead cross-functional teams.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • To be eligible for this position, candidates should possess a Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering with business related courses and 3 to 5 years of related experience.
  • Participate and or lead cross-functional teams.
  • Photocell and contactor experience desired.
  • Proficient at MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience utilizing ERP systems
