About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in Control-M automation to join our growing team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who bring energy, adaptability, and a passion for automation and support excellence. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our production systems, with opportunities to contribute to automation and DevOps initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Control-M job scheduling and automation across production environments.
- Provide Level 2/3 production support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of applications.
- Automate manual tasks using Shell scripting and Python.
- Participate in shakeouts and validations through Jenkins pipelines.
- Support and troubleshoot applications running on Linux servers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 5 years of experience in production support or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Control-M for job scheduling and automation.
- Proficiency in Linux server support and scripting (Shell, Python).
- Exposure to DevOps tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Git.
- Familiarity with containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of Java/J2EE stack: Spring Framework, JSP, JDBC, Hibernate, JMS, Log4J, etc.
- Experience with Java open-source tools: Ant, Struts, Spring Boot, jUnit, HTTPUnit.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certification or hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Background in healthcare claims processing (highly desirable).
- Experience with requirements analysis techniques.
- Exposure to Angular, AJAX, JSF is a plus.
