About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in Control-M automation to join our growing team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who bring energy, adaptability, and a passion for automation and support excellence. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our production systems, with opportunities to contribute to automation and DevOps initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Control-M job scheduling and automation across production environments.
  • Provide Level 2/3 production support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of applications.
  • Automate manual tasks using Shell scripting and Python.
  • Participate in shakeouts and validations through Jenkins pipelines.
  • Support and troubleshoot applications running on Linux servers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2 5 years of experience in production support or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Control-M for job scheduling and automation.
  • Proficiency in Linux server support and scripting (Shell, Python).
  • Exposure to DevOps tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Git.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of Java/J2EE stack: Spring Framework, JSP, JDBC, Hibernate, JMS, Log4J, etc.
  • Experience with Java open-source tools: Ant, Struts, Spring Boot, jUnit, HTTPUnit.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certification or hands-on experience with AWS services.
  • Background in healthcare claims processing (highly desirable).
  • Experience with requirements analysis techniques.
  • Exposure to Angular, AJAX, JSF is a plus.
