IT Project Leader

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program & Project Leader to establish and lead the Project Management Office (PMO) for our Data Analytics organization.
• This role will be pivotal in driving the strategic direction and execution of project management practices across the organization.
• The ideal candidate will also assume responsibilities as the Chief Product Officer (CPO) for Data Analytics, ensuring representation and alignment with the IT organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and lead the PMO, developing and implementing project management standards, processes, and tools.
• Oversee the portfolio of projects, ensuring they align with strategic goals and deliver value to the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and resource allocation.
• Act as the Chief Product Officer (CPO) for Data Analytics, driving overall DA product alignment and participating in the IT governance process.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in project and product management.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and product teams.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in establishing and leading a PMO/Significant Programs in a complex organization.
• Experience in data analytics or a related field is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience as a project manager, with a track record of successful project portfolio design and execution.

Education:

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• A Master s degree or MBA is preferred.
