Title: PL/SQL Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Rate: $42/hr
Position Type: Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PL/SQL Developer with a strong background in SQL Server and SSIS to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of complex database solutions, ETL processes, and data migration between SQL Server and Oracle environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop SQL Server databases including tables, indexes, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

  • Write, test, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.

  • Design and develop ETL workflows using SSIS, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.

  • Support data migration initiatives between SQL Server and Oracle systems.

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.

  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL development.

  • Proficient in SQL Server, including database design and optimization.

  • Expertise in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL development.

  • Experience in data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts.

  • Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and tune SQL queries.

  • Experience with data migration across heterogeneous systems (SQL Server and Oracle).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
