What you'll be doing...

The Sr. Salesforce and Apttus Contract Management System (Apttus CMS - aka Conga CMS) Business and Technical Solution Provider will be responsible for leveraging an exceptional understanding of the Salesforce CRM ecosystem with a native Apttus CMS installation to conceive and design solutions for sales, sales support, and back-office automation opportunities. This person will work directly with both technical and business personnel and will serve as a knowledge leader charged with innovation in one of the most impactful elements of the business - the Salesforce CRM and the native Apttus CMS. Organizations including sales, sales support and various back-office teams - legal, finance, offer development, contract management, RFP, etc., will rely on this leader to evaluate current and proposed business operations in the context of automation possible within the Salesforce/Apttus ecosystem and potentially through the application of third-party appendages to Salesforce/Apttus. This position will require leading the engagements with sales, sales support, and the back-office teams to collect requirements and present strategies for the implementation of new Salesforce and Apttus CMS automation solutions. These will include but not limited to, conducting requirements interviews, documentation of business/technical requirements as user stories, working with the agile process for implementation, solution options and presentation, UAT planning and script development, UAT execution, production shakeout, train the trainers, and pre and post go-live planning and on-going level-2 support. This position does not require any coding.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, propose, and maintain world-class Salesforce.com and Apttus CMS solutions using best practices in the areas of new process automation, changes to existing system processes, system decommissions (moving legacy systems or processes to Salesforce.com/Apttus CMS), lightning apps and components, custom apps, changes to core apps, Apttus CMS workflows, AppExchange Apps, approvals, workflows, Salesforce Flows, reports and dashboards, etc.
  • Recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • Lead implementation of new processes and technologies.
  • Lead legacy systems decommission initiatives.
  • Lead meetings with stakeholders to review the challenges and opportunities for Salesforce.com and Apttus CMS automation needs.
  • Lead collection and documentation of client requirements and feedback as user stories.
  • Lead user-story grooming sessions with the IT team.
  • Lead certification of solution design - whether submitted through user stories or alternatives proposed by the IT teams.
  • Create Test Plans.
  • Conduct UAT.
  • Lead engagement of stakeholders in the UAT process.
  • Provide contents to the training teams as needed.
  • Lead pre and post implementation plan.
  • Provide level 2 support as needed.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more of work experience.
  • Six years or more of relevant experience.
  • Salesforce.com Admin and Consultant Certifications.
  • Knowledge of Public Sector (Federal, State and Local) contracting processes and related contract management systems -Apttus CMS, etc.
  • Extensive functional knowledge of the Salesforce.com and Apttus CMS system.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead strategic/consultative sessions with clients.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in building/documentation of requirements, solution design, UAT prep and execution, and pre- and post-go-live support.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • A B.S. Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent curriculum.
  • ApttConga CMS certification.
  • Salesforce/Apttus CMS DevOps experience.
  • 6 or more years of demonstrable leadership in providing complex business solutions via Salesforce.com and Apttus CMS.
  • 6 or more years of demonstrable leadership in managing automation processes from requirements to implementations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with Salesforce.com/Apttus CMS integrations, data migration, building of custom apps (lightning or otherwise), UX for page layouts and record types, custom objects, sharing rules, workflow and validation rules, email templates, formulas, dashboards & reporting, and Sandbox-to-Production processes.
  • Strong ability to solve diverse, complex, and crucial business problems.
  • Self-directed with ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, communicate delays, clarify ambiguities.
