Position: Executive AV/IT Support Specialist
Location: Farmington, CT (On-site | 5 Days/Week)
Type: Full-Time | Contract

Overview

We're searching for a polished, professional, and proactive AV/IT Support Specialist to serve as the primary technical resource for high-level meetings and conferencing environments at a prominent organization in Farmington, CT. This is a fully on-site role where you'll ensure all AV and collaboration systems operate seamlessly - before, during, and after executive gatherings.

Core Responsibilities

  • Be on-site daily to review meeting schedules and confirm readiness of all AV-equipped rooms.
  • Proactively test TVs, displays, microphones, cameras, and teleconferencing tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, HDMI connections, and AV hardware.
  • Maintain rooms to an executive-ready standard - tidy, organized, and technically sound.
  • Provide real-time support for C-level executives and high-priority meetings.
  • Coordinate with IT and networking teams to solve connectivity or firewall-related challenges.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years' AV/IT support experience within a medium-to-large enterprise setting.
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and enterprise AV systems.
  • Familiarity with Crestron (or similar control platforms), Cisco, and Polycom technology.
  • Ability to troubleshoot HDMI, display interfaces, and basic network issues.
  • Professional presence and communication skills - confident and personable around executives.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with initiative and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

? Bonus Skills

  • Experience with network flow analysis and firewall troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of AV-over-IP systems, AV LANs, and VLAN configurations.
  • Relevant certifications (CTS, CompTIA, Microsoft 365) are a strong plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
