Job Description:

Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.

Basic Qualifications
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and 7 years of applied experience. Will consider a bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience; Or, 1 year of experience with a master's degree.
  • Experience providing technical support for PCs, laptops, and associated peripherals.
  • Experience installing, troubleshooting, services and repairing IT equipment.
  • Knowledge using Standard Operating Procedures and Work Guides
  • Experience working in a secure environment (SAP, SCIF).
  • Familiarity with Networking concepts.
  • Must have an active Secret DoD Security Clearance with last investigation done within 5 years.
  • Must be able to obtain Special Program Access within 365 days from acceptance of offer.
  • 8570 Certification (Sec+).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM or IT related field from an accredited institution.
  • Familiarity with flight line operations.
  • Familiarity with aircraft maintenance.
  • Active Program Clearance.
Salary Range: $79,300 - $118,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
