We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Network Engineer for a 6+ month onsite engagement in De Pere, WI. This role is designed to support daily operational tasks while full-time staff focus on high-priority projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling incident response, service requests, system maintenance, and small-scale network projects.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Network Engineer for a 6+ month onsite engagement in De Pere, WI. This role is designed to support daily operational tasks while full-time staff focus on high-priority projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling incident response, service requests, system maintenance, and small-scale network projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for network incidents, service requests, and troubleshooting.
- Perform routine maintenance including patches, upgrades, and system health checks.
- Assist with small-scale projects such as low-voltage planning and routing cleanups.
- Configure, test, and document network equipment based on established designs.
- Support network expansion and upgrade initiatives, including hardware/software integration.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex issues and implement solutions.
- Maintain and update network documentation including topology maps and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and audit requirements.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for escalated support needs.
Required Skills & Technologies
- Core Networking: Cisco routers and switches, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN
- Security & Access: Firewall configuration, access control, data provisioning
- Telephony & UC: Basic understanding of unified communications
- Wireless Technologies: RADIUS, LWAPP, Cisco ACS, 802.11i, WPA/WPA2, 802.1x
Preferred Experience With
- FMC, FTD, ISE, IOS-XE, DNAC
- Wireless security and encryption protocols
- Network documentation and change management processes
