  • Build and optimize solutions using Lightning (LWC/Aura), Apex, triggers, async processing (Queueable/Batch/Scheduled), and APIs.
  • Define integration approach using REST/SOAP, Platform Events, and middleware patterns (MuleSoft/other iPaaS is a plus).
  • Establish and enforce best practices: coding standards, CI/CD, branching strategy, review processes, and release management.
  • Support environment strategy and deployment processes using tools such as Copado/Gearset/Jenkins/GitHub Actions (as applicable).
  • Ensure platform quality through test strategy, code coverage, and automated testing; drive defect resolution and RCA.
  • Provide technical mentorship to developers and collaborate with admins/analysts on configuration vs customization decisions.
  • Participate in stakeholder discussions, architecture reviews, and roadmap planning.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years in Salesforce ecosystem with 3+ years in an Architect/Lead role.
  • Strong experience delivering solutions on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (end-to-end implementations).
  • Proven hands-on development experience with:
    • Apex, Triggers, Asynchronous Apex (Batch/Queueable/Future)
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC) (Aura acceptable as secondary)
    • SOQL/SOSL, Platform security model, sharing, and governor limits
  • Strong declarative expertise: Flows, validation rules, approval processes, assignment rules, Omni-Channel routing concepts (if Service-focused).
  • Integration experience: REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth/auth patterns, and data migration approaches.
  • Data modeling experience including large data volumes and performance optimization.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to drive technical decisions with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Field Service or advanced service capabilities (CTI, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, Entitlements, Case Management patterns).
  • Experience with CPQ, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud (if relevant).
  • Experience with MuleSoft or other integration/middleware platforms.
  • Salesforce certifications such as:
    • Application Architect / System Architect
    • Platform Developer I/II
    • Sales Cloud Consultant / Service Cloud Consultant
    • CTA (highly desirable, not required)
