This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
Requirements:
Maintainability Analyses
Knowledge of maintainability and availability analyses including maintenance task time estimation, timeline analysis, maintainability prediction and allocations, maintenance and servicing procedures, fault detection/fault isolation, accessibility, tools and ground support/test equipment requirements identification. Knowledge of maintenance plan and concept development, failure modes, condition monitoring, repair schemes, preventive/scheduled maintenance inspections. Knowledge of Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) processes, and modeling.
Reliability Analyses
Knowledge of reliability analyses including mission reliability requirements/performance parameters, mean time between failure, schedule reliability, guarantees and warranties, system/subsystem block diagramming, function flows, predictions, allocations, redundancy modeling, verification/validation, reliability planning, procedure/process development, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and reliability testing/growth.
Statistical Concepts
Knowledge of statistical analysis concepts such as normal distribution, standard deviations, mean, probability, and confidence levels.
System Health
Knowledge of diagnostic, prognostic, condition based maintenance, and adaptive control concepts. Knowledge of system health architectural concepts and design considerations for vehicles and systems of systems. Ability to establish requirements, and translate requirements into hardware and software for health management functionality. Ability to assess the effectiveness of system health technologies.
