Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our quality engineering team. This role focuses on API automation, contract testing, performance validation, security at the component level, accessibility coaching, and service virtualization. You ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

What the Team Works On

  • Contract Testing Validating API contracts between integrated systems
  • Accessibility Coaching Providing guidance to ensure applications meet accessibility standards
  • Component-Level Security Conducting targeted security testing
  • Performance Testing Evaluating performance and scalability using modern tools
  • API Automation Automating API testing across services
  • Service Virtualization Creating mocks and stubs for testing isolated components

Skills and Knowledge Areas

API Fundamentals

  • Understanding of how APIs are built and structured
  • Creating and managing API contracts (Swagger/OpenAPI)
  • Working with contractors and virtualized services
  • Building, managing, and automating Postman collections
  • End-to-end API flow validation and automation

Tools & Technologies

  • API Testing & Automation: Postman, Tosca, Playwright, Aptori
  • Performance Testing: K6 or equivalent tools
  • Frameworks: Express (Node.js), Playwright (UI/API testing)
  • Security & Accessibility: Best practices and tools for secure and inclusive development
  • Others: Service virtualization, sentiment analyzers (optional/nice to have)

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in QA automation, specifically in API and backend systems
  • Proficiency in automating Postman collections and API contract validation
  • Experience with service virtualization and mocking tools
  • Strong understanding of accessibility and component-level security
  • Hands-on with performance testing using K6 or similar tools
  • Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Scripting experience in JavaScript or TypeScript preferred
